Three Inpress publishers now taking submissions!

A call to authors and poets: Modern Poetry in TranslationDead Ink Books, and The Emma Press have all announced that they are now taking submissions!

Dead Ink will be taking submissions for their New Voices publication series of three novels by debut writers. This year, the series' authors are Harry Gallon, Lochlan Bloom, and Wes Brown. The series will be crowdfunded through their Publishing the Underground project. The deadline for submissions for New Voices 2016 is the end of January next year. 

The Emma Press are also taking submissions for prose and poetry pamphlets. Previously shortlisted for the Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlet Publishers, they published ten pamphlets of poetry last year and have three more coming in the next few months, including True Tales of the Countryside by Deborah Alma, which will be out at the end of the month. Their deadline for submissions will be the 13th December.

Modern Poetry in Translation publish their magazine three times a year and are now taking submissions for their Spring 2016 issue, which will have a focus on poems about the experience of being a migrant or refugee. They are also open to suggestions for an interview or prose piece on the topic to accompany the poems. Previous issues of Modern Poetry in Translation can be found on our website.
