Poetry Book Society Selections Sping 2016

Posted on November 09, 2015 by Rebecca Robinson | 0 comments

There are Inpress poets galore on the list of Poetry Book Society Selections for Spring 2016.

Vahni Capildeo's collection Measures of Expatriation (Carcanet) is the Poetry Book Society Choice. Her previous collection Utter was published by Peepal Tree Press in 2013.

Receiving Recommendations are long term Inpress favourites Maura Dooley for her Bloodaxe collection The Silvering and Ian Duhig for The Blind Roadmaker from Picador. Duhig's collaboration with artist Philippa Troutman, Digressions, was published by Smokestack Books last year.

Last but by no means least from the Recommendations list is Seren poet Judy Brown whose next book Crowd Sensations, released in February next year, is now all the more eagerly anticipated.

Special commendations went to John Kinsella, a frequent feature on the Arc Publications list, and Will Eaves, whose collection The Inevitable Gift Shop is also due in February from the brilliant CB editions.

A fine selection, I'm sure you'll agree!
