Birgitta Lillpers (1958-) Born and raised in Orsa, Sweden, in the rolling countryside to the north of Stockholm (Dalarna), she lives in the house of her birth. She is the author of several books of poetry as well as novels. Her poetry haunts you for days after you have heard her read it, a musical experience no one is likely to forget.
