Clive Birnie has been cutting things up to make poems from them since 1994. Silkworms Ink released Terminal Insemination Art, a text sequence of cut-up thought fragments and
overheard conversations in 2012. Cutting Up the Economist, a newspaper montage sequence exploring the age of austerity, was published via Burning Eye in 2014.
