Ilsa Thielan is a writer, photographer and artist. Much of her photographic work is a homage to the beauty of the West of Ireland, its stunning nature and unique rural scenes. This perception also informs her poetry. She has exhibited her work in both Ireland and abroad and has travelled extensively in North America and Africa. German by birth, she has lived in County Clare, Ireland, for over 30 years.
