Mark Ryan played in various punk bands during the late 1970s, including Adam and the Ants. He later turned to theatre and began a successful career as a playwright. He is the author of The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde As Told To Carl Jung By An Inmate Of Broadmoor Asylum, performed to five-star reviews in Edinburgh, London, Cardiff and San Francisco. Mark died in 2011, as he was finalising the text for his novel, Sean Tyrone: A Symphony of Horrors.
