Roddy Lumsden is a Scottish poet and an Eric Gregory Award winner. His first book Yeah Yeah Yeah was shortlisted for the Forward Prize in the Best First Collection section. His second collection The Book of Love was a Poetry Book Society Choice – shortlisted for both the T.S. Eliot Prize and The John Llewellyn Rhys Prize. Mischief Night: New & Selected Poems was a PBS Recommendation. He organises/hosts a monthly reading series Broadcast. Roddy Lumsden reads six poems from his latest Bloodaxe collection, Third Wish Wasted at the book's launch event at StAnza, Scotland's international poetry festival, in St Andrews at the Byre Theatre on Saturday 21 March 2009. He reads and talks about these poems: 'Against Complaint', 'The Beautiful', 'Sammy's Noodle House & Grill', 'Tandem', 'Ludlow' and 'Quietus'.
