About Inpress and The Poetry Book Society

In June 2016 Inpress took over the management of The Poetry Book Society.  The PBS was founded in 1953 by TS Eliot and provides information, reviews and discounts on the finest contemporary poetry published in the UK. It produces a quarterly Bulletin in which Poet Selectors choose the best new poetry collections available in that period; the Bulletin contains the selectors’ reviews of the chosen works plus the poets’ comments on their work and further reviews and recommendations. The PBS is committed to the promotion of contemporary poetry and there are ambitious plans to grow and diversify the scope of the PBS offering and to build and develop its membership over the coming years.
