insatiable carrot continues Judy Kendall’s constant exploration of form and image, both visual and linguistic in an innovative new collection that centres around the theme of gardening. Ambitious, sometimes challenging, often deftly humourous, these are vivid, honed pieces.
Judy Kendall edited an anthology of Edward Thomas’s poems and related letters to contemporary poets (Carcanet) and a book on Edward Thomas’s composing processes for University of Wales Press. Her debut poetry collection with Cinnamon Press was The Drier The Brighter. Her second collection, Joy Change, focused on poems about Japan, whilst her third, climbing postcards, explored the world of climbing and images around climbing. Judy lectures in Creative Writing at the University of Salford.
