Collection: Elaine Feeney

Elaine Feeney was born in Galway in 1979. Her poetry has been widely published, including in The Shop, nth Position, Xposed, Suil Siar, Against the Wall and The Vilenica Journal. She has performed her work at The Cuirt International Literature Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Tuam Arts Festival and Over The Edge Galway, among many others. Her work has been translated into Lithuanian and Slovene. In 2006 she won the annual North Beach Nights Slam in Galway and was the 2008 Cuirt International Literature Festival Grand Slam Champion. In 2007 she published her first short collection, Indiscipline, with Maverick Press. As a teacher Elaine has worked tirelessly at promoting literature and poetry among teenagers. She was involved in the first Youthspeaks and was the coordinator of the popular Pupils to Pixels publication in 2006, promoting the arts in schools. Where’s Katie? is her debut collection.
