Delivery & Returns

From 1st of July 2021, shipments from the UK to EU countries will be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) charges. Orders placed through this website are shipped Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) and customers in the EU may have to pay import VAT (and customs duties, if payable) and a handling fee in the receiving country.

Delivery information

Our UK orders are delivered free of charge.

Magazine subscriptions (one- and two-year) are subject to their own delivery charges.

Stock and Availability

While we do our best to make sure that all the products you’ll find on this site are available as advertised, books may go out of stock from time to time. We pride ourselves on our personal level of service, and will advise you as soon as possible of any delay. If we cannot fulfil your order for whatever reason, we will suggest an alternative item, or offer an immediate refund. 

Delivery Times

We aim to ship your purchase as soon as possible, usually within 48 hours. Your orders will in most cases be dispatched direct from the publisher; please allow time for smaller publishers to process your order.

Please note that books from different publishers will arrive separately.

If you've pre-ordered a title that's not yet published, we'll dispatch it for you as soon as the titles arrive from the printer.

Lost or Missing Orders

In the unlikely event your order does not arrive in timely fashion, with no postman’s calling card in sight, please contact us quoting your order number and we will trace your order as soon as we can.

Unfortunately, in order to keep shipping costs to a minimum, we are unable to offer tracking services at this time.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase when it arrives, you can return it to us in its original condition, within 30 days, for a refund on purchase price and P&P. We will also refund your return postage costs if the item is faulty, or returned due to an error on our part.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
