For over ten years, Inpress has been instrumental in supporting the sales and marketing of literary book and magazine publishers across the UK and Ireland. Our subsidy from Arts Council England and not-for-profit status means we can take risks with bold and innovative publishing from outside of the mainstream. We offer a full, professional and high-value service, focusing on generating sales and growing audiences. Any profit made is simply re-invested into promoting your titles.
Inpress is both a trade agency and an online bookseller, we support and nurture new and upcoming writing and publishing talent.
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Inpress represents over 40 of the UK and Ireland’s finest independent publishers. We sell poetry, fiction and non-fiction to the UK and international book trade through our specialist sales team.
Our head office staff has combined experience of both commercial and independent publishing, book retail sales, marketing and financial expertise. We have a designated Key Account manager, with a field sales team of highly experienced and professional freelance sales representatives.
Inpress sells over 200 new titles each calendar year in genres including poetry, fiction, short stories, cultural non-fiction, literary biography & children’s fiction.
