Hugh Dunkerley grew up in Edinburgh and Bath and currently lives in Brighton with his wife and son. He has published two chapbooks, Walking to the Fire Tower (Redbeck Press, 1997) and Fast (Pighog Press, 2007). A selection of his work appeared in Oxford Poets 2007 (Carcanet Press). His first full collection, Hare, was published by Cinnamon Press in 2010. He has been a Gregory Award winner, a Hawthornden Fellow and a Leighton Studio Fellow at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. Recent work has appeared in Irish Pages and The London Magazine. He reviews for The London Magazine and Envoi and teaches English and Creative Writing at the University of Chichester.
