Jane Aspinall grew up in Liverpool and following a legal career now works as a university senior lecturer in law and management. She loves poetry, running and the sea. Jane was a first stage winner in the 2009/10 Poetry Business Competition, a featured poet at The Inaugural Women’s Literature Festival hosted by Carol Ann Duffy in April 2010, and won second prize in the 2010 Academi Cardiff International Poetry Competition.
