Danielle Hope was born in Lancashire and now lives in London where she works as a doctor. She previously edited Zenos, a magazine of British and international poetry. The poems in City Fox, her second collection, range over many subjects and places and include 'A Lament Diary', her reaction to the death of the poet, Feyyaz Fergar.
"The most striking feature of Danielle Hope's poetry is her successful articulation of empathy, a quality much missed in a century dominated by 'cool'"
