Anne Caldwell grew up in the north-west of England and now lives in West Yorkshire with her son. Her poetry has been published in several anthologies - Poet's Cheshire (Headland) and The Nerve (Virago) - and in three collections by Cinnamon Press.  She now teaches creative writing at Bolton University and for the OU.  Anne wrote for and edited a collection of short stories published by Route called Some Girls’ Mothers (2008). She performs all over the UK, and her latest collection, Talking with the Dead, was published by Cinnamon Press in 2011. The National Association for Writers in Education employs Anne to run their professional development programme for writers.
