Collection: Beda Higgins

Beda Higgins writes poetry and prose and is published in various anthologies and collections. In 2004 she received a Northern Promise Award for her first novel, and her second novel was one of five shortlisted in the National Lit. Idol Competition. In 2010 she received a Time to Write Award to complete her third novel. She works part-time as a Practice Nurse and has received two Queen’s Nursing Institute Awards to fund studies to consider writing as a therapeutic tool. She lives in Newcastle upon Tyne and is married with three children.
