Collection: Char March
Char March is a multi-award-winning poet, playwright and fiction writer. Her credits include: three poetry collections, six BBC Radio 4 plays, seven stage plays and numerous short stories. She is also a highly-experienced tutor in creative writing, is Lecturer in Creative Writing for Leeds College of Art & Design, and has recently finished 18 months as Writer-in-Residence for Leeds Hospitals. She has been a Hawthornden Fellow twice, and, in summer 2010 was Writer-in-Residence at Ty Newydd (The National Writers’ Centre in Wales) where she worked on her novel A Species of Truth. Char grew up in central Scotland, now lives in the Yorkshire Pennines and still spends a lot of time in the NW Highlands.
