Collection: Clair Wills
Clair Wills is an Irish writer and academic. She has written widely on post-war Irish culture. Her books include Improprieties: politics and sexuality in Northern Irish Poetry (OUP, 1993) and Reading Paul Muldoon (Bloodaxe Books, 1998). She has also edited the contemporary section of the Field Day Anthology of Irish Women's Writing.
Clair Wills teaches at Queen Mary College, University of London and was awarded a fellowship by the Leverhulme Trust to work on her study of Irish neutrality in the Second World War, That Neutral Island (Faber & Faber, 2007).
