Gail Ashton is a poet, freelance writer and teacher, editor, reviewer and sometime academic. She has published two collections with Cinnamon Press – The Other Side of Glass and Ghost Songs – plus many other books, including a short, lively biography with Hesperus, Geoffrey Chaucer: a life. She lives in Cheshire with her family and a mad dog.
