Collection: George Bradley
George Bradley was born in 1953 in Roslyn, NY. His first book of verse, Terms to Be Met, was selected by James Merrill for the Yale Younger Poets Prize in 1985. His work has also been published in, among others, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Poetry, American Poetry Review, The Yale Review, Verse and Standpoint. His many awards include the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters and the Peter I.B. Lavan Award from The Academy of American Poets. He has read his poetry at many venues, including the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., the 92nd St. ‘Y’ in New York City, and the Lannan Foundation. He now lives in Chester, Connecticut.
