Jenny Lindsay

Jenny Lindsay was born in Glasgow in 1982 and grew up in Maybole, South Ayrshire. She moved to Edinburgh at 17 and worked in a variety of jobs, including door-to-door saleswoman, charity fundraiser, call centre worker and minimum-wage waitress. She started performing poetry in 2002, and has appeared at a variety of different events, festivals and cabarets including the Edinburgh Fringe, Latitude, Edinburgh International Book Festival and the Cheltenham Literature Festival.
