Collection: John Lyons

John Lyons was born in Trinidad. He came to the UK many years ago. He received the prestigious Windrush Arts Achiever Award, and has thrice won The Peterloo Poetry Competition. He is a poet and painter; and also works as a writing tutor, for the Arvon Foundation, and in schools and colleges. He has made 14 radio broadcasts since 1987 (BBC Radio 4, RTE Dublin) and 8 TV appearances since 1989 (BBC, Granada). He lives in Ely.
