Collection: John Wedgwood Clarke
John Wedgwood Clarke grew up in St. Ives, Cornwall and currently lives in Scarborough. He trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and went on to obtain a D.Phil in Modernist Poetics from the University of York. He is UK and Ireland poetry editor for Arc Publications, and teaches creative writing part-time at the University of Hull. His work has appeared in various publications and received critical acclaim in competitions: in 2010 he was shortlisted for the Manchester Poetry Prize and commended in the National Poetry Competition. His first pamphlet Sea Swim was published in 2012 by Valley Press.
