Collection: Rachel Piercey
Rachel Piercey studied English Literature at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. She was president of the Oxford Poetry Society and won the Newdigate Prize in 2008 with her poem Returning, 1945. After graduating, she became a travel guide editor at Duncan Petersen Publishing and co-authored Rome Walks with John Fort, before returning to university to take an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway in 2010-11. When she’s not writing, Rachel works as an Education Assistant and editor of Young Poets Network at the Poetry Society. She recently joined the editorial team of the Cadaverine.
