Collection: Rebecca Gethin
Devon-based writer Rebecca Gethin was born in Yorkshire. At the age of 10 she won the Wharfedale Naturalists’ Society essay competition and she has continued to write about the natural world. She has always been a teacher of one kind or another and currently teaches in a prison. Her first poetry collection, River is the Plural of Rain, was published by Oversteps Books in 2009 and her first novel, Liar Dice, won the Cinnamon Press Novel Award in 2010 and was published in 2011. She has read some episodes of this book on BBC Radio Devon, and has given a talks at Ways with Words Festival at Dartington Hall and other events in Devon.
