Sadhana Naithani

Sadhana Naithani was born 1964, in Dehradun, north India. Grew up bi-lingual, with Hindi and English. Studied German language, literature and folklore in the University. Researcher of folklore and author of In Quest of Indian Folktales (2006), The Story-Time of the British Empire (2010) and other books and articles. She has also made two ethnographic films on contemporary German village life. Currently Professor at Centre of German Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
