Tania Hershman was born in London in 1970 and moved to Jerusalem, Israel, in 1994. Her short stories have won or been shortlisted for various prizes, been published in print and online and broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Her first short story collection, The White Road and Other Stories, is now available from Salt Modern Fiction. Her stories feature in Wonderwall and Ideas Above Our Station.
