Clinic II is a 116-page, full-colour, anthology of poetry, photography and illustration.

Following a sell-out run of their first anthology, Clinic return with its second installment in the series: a more ambitious endeavour collating the work of the most exciting young page-poets, illustrators and photographers working today. The book is a manifestation of the workshops, readings and exhibitions Clinic have orchestrated around the UK in the past year.

"Reader, you hold in your hands something like a freezing cold field. In the centre of this rainy, wind-swept field, a crashed gyrocopter. One of the authors crawls out of it (astonished). Orange flames licking the tail. The author stands up, shakes his helmet…"
Ross Sutherland

The publication includes, at its centre, the photo essay, ‘Modern Times’, by 31-year-old photojournalist and New York Times contributor Patrick Tsai, documenting the tumultuous cultural concerns of China in the 21st century.

"I’m quite confident that a lot of these writers will still be around and making a noise in poetry when we are all properly grown up. Gathered here are some of the best young poets who are currently putting pen to paper."
Stuart Hammond

Illustrated by: Hanna Andersson, Kohei Ashino, Sophia Augusta, Alexey Berezkin, Harriet Bridgwater, Michael Dotson, Mike Goldby, Jack Hudson, Rob Hope-Johnstone, Paul Layzell, Bob London, Aaron McLaughlin, Olja Oblvco, Sean Roy Parker, Aimee Parrott, Tom Rees, Jack Teagle, White White Brown Twig

Praise for Clinic I:

"I have rarely seen, if ever, such a beautifully-put-together collation of new daring poems by young (British) poets, and eccentric, indie photographs."
Todd Swift

"Handsomely bound, with full-colour illustrations and some assured photo essays that wouldn’t look out of place in Granta or The Paris Review."
Stuart Hammond, Dazed and Confused, Book of the Month for August 2010
