Though he is best known as a teacher and critic in Wales, here Mercer Simpson goes back to his roots in East Anglia. The 'wordscapes' of the title are twenty of his favourite venues which he celebrates in lyrical and perciptive poems to the accompaniment of accomplished line drawings by Miriam King.
