In the early hours of Good Friday, April 2019, Gerald Corrigan was shot with a crossbow outside his home on Anglesey. The attack proved fatal, and the subsequent investigation into the murder shocked the local community. Whilst the murderer was arrested and convicted, there remain many unanswered questions surrounding motive. In Murder on Ynys Môn: The Anglesey Crossbow Killing, journalist Siôn Tecwyn explores the events leading up to the murder. Working with additional insight from Meic Parry, producer of The Crossbow Killer Podcast, and previously unseen content, the book considers the wider social and cultural factors which make this case even more unusual. Evocative photographs by Robert Law and poetry by Rhys Iorwerth set the tone, highlighting a complex and dark mystery.
