Inpress' Publishers shortlisted for the Michael Marks Awards!

For the second year in a row, both Smith Doorstop and The Emma Press have been shortlisted for the Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlets.

The Emma Press have been commended by the judges for 'the most beautifully designed and produced pamphlets', many of which have been illustrated by Emma Wright herself. This year, they have started producing ‘Art Squares': large square booklets of poetry and colour illustrations.

Smith Doorstop, who won the award in 2012, have been noted for their innovative work this year in producing a series of pamphlets with emerging poets, which shows their 'unflagging commitment to finding new talent'. They have also been shortlisted for the Poetry category for David Tait's Three Dragon Day pamphlet.
