Publishing the Underground reaches its goal!
Dead Ink were very pleased to announce that their crowdfunding project, Publishing the Underground, surpassed 100% of its goal yesterday, raising £3,048 with contributions from over 165 supporters.
The project launched in October with the aim of furthering Dead Ink's work with emerging British authors. Their second New Voices series, features Harry Gallon (The Shapes of Dog's Eyes), Lochlan Bloom (The Wave), and Wes Brown (When Lights Are Bright).
Publishing the Underground was a great success but saw tensions running high towards the end of the project when Dead Ink's publishing director Nathan Connolly decided to raise the stakes with a promise to shave off his beard if they reached their goal...
A huge congratulations to Dead Ink but a sad farewell to Nathan's beard!
