Part Time Accounts and Poetry Book Society Administrator

Part time: 3 days a week
Salary: £15,500-£17,000 p.a. pro rata depending on experience.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Inpress, the specialist sales and marketing agency for independent publishers based in Newcastle upon Tyne, is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual, with a passion for literature and a head for numbers, to join the team as our part time Accounts and Poetry Book Society Administrator.

The successful candidate will be an essential part of a busy and vibrant sales and marketing team, ensuring the absolutely essential administrative work of Accounts and the PBS day to day business is carried out effectively. 

This role will suit someone who is unflappable, with exceptional organisational skills, initiative, excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

The position will include liaison over the phone and via email with PBS members, Inpress client publishers and general poetry publishers, involving book and membership order processing, timely dissemination of information, creative input to PBS website and social media marketing, collating monthly sales figures and preparing figures for management accounts. We are looking for someone who is conscientious, clear-thinking and keen to make their mark, this goes hand in hand with a high quality of work as well as the ability to hit deadlines across a wide range of tasks.
